Hola! My name is Lesley Loor (pronounced just like “Lore”) and I am the owner of LORE Birthing Services.

I’m glad you’re here and I look forward to connecting with you!

A little about me:

• I was born and raised in the Bronx

• I am a loving aunt, sister, and wife

• I speak español

• I graduated from Barnard College with a BA and from Baruch College with an MPA

• I have over a decade of experience in the non-profit and education sector

• I became a doula because I find the statistics related to maternal and infant death alarming and because I want birthing people, particularly Black and Brown birthing people, to be aware of their rights and affirm their needs. Pregnancy is a beautiful and vulnerable process and I want to support and empower birthing people to make informed choices that are in their best interest.
